Conservative Party of Canada announces candidate for Cardigan, PE

OTTAWA, ON- The Conservative Party of Canada is thrilled to announce James Aylward as the new common sense Conservative candidate for Cardigan, PE. James is a proud Islander who has served the people of PEI as an MLA, Minister and Leader of the Prince Edward Island Progressive Conservative Party.

“Common sense Canadians in Cardigan have had enough of the Liberal waste, fiscal mismanagement and high taxes that have driven up the cost of everything. I’m running to join Pierre Poilievre in his fight to put Canadians back in control of their lives and to get rid of the gatekeepers so we can start building again in this country to bring home powerful paycheques for our people,” said Aylward.

After 9 years of Justin Trudeau, hardworking Canadians are struggling just to afford fuel, food, and shelter. Crime is ravaging our streets. Only a Common Sense Conservative government led by Pierre Poilievre will axe the tax, build the homes, fix the budget and stop the crime. We know James will be a tremendous advocate for the hardworking people of Cardigan and a valuable asset to the team.
